Holidays are times for families to gather together and celebrate. Independence Day in particular is one that emphasizes the importance of country and community.
With all of the parades, parties and barbecues occurring during the holiday weekend, it can become easy to overlook the many military families that may be struggling with the loss of loved ones or missing relatives assigned to active duty abroad.
The 4th of July holiday is an opportunity to extend gratitude and show support to our troops and their families while acknowledging their important contribution to the well-being and safety of our country.
As we celebrate our nation’s freedom this weekend, remember to honor the courageous men and women dedicated to preserving it. Extending a “thank you” to a service member or a military family is a great way to show gratitude for their sacrifice.
To all of those who have so generously served our country – We Thank You!
