Resilience is generally understood as the successful adaptation to life tasks in the face of social disadvantage or highly adverse conditions. This course is designed to assist mental health practitioners in facilitating the development of resilience in their clients. The workshop is organized to help develop an understanding of stress resilience. Participants will explore and practice evidence based strategies to enhance resilience. These strategies include: cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, self-efficacy training, and psychosocial resilience training.
