Executive Leadership Team

Fabio van der Merwe, M.A., CHC

Chief Executive Officer

Fabio van der Merwe started his career with DeKalb Community Service Board in 2006 and has served in management positions in the departments of Compliance, Quality, and Utilization Management. In 2016 he joined DeKalb CSB’s Leadership Team as the Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to his work at DeKalb CSB, Fabio held positions in managed care, substance abuse, and other behavioral health organizations. Fabio has a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University, a M. A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and holds certification in Health Care Compliance.

James L. Moore, CPA, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Jim has 40 years of professional experience in finance and accounting with more than 25 years of experience in finance with healthcare organizations. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer for DeKalb Community Service Board since 2006.

Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.

Renee Dryfoos, LCSW, MBA

Chief Clinical Officer

Renee joined DeKalb Community Service Board in 1999 and has served as Director of DeKalb Addiction Clinic, the Director of Winn Way Mental Health Clinic and the Director of QI/UM and Staff Development prior to her current position of Chief Clinical Officer.

Renee has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami, a M.A. in Human Services from Nova Southeastern University, a M.S.W. from the University of Georgia, and an M.B.A. from Mercer University. Renee has over 25 years of experience with a continuum of care in behavioral health and substance abuse organizations including public and private hospitals, not-for-profit substance abuse residential and day programs and DeKalb Community Service Board services.

Sara Case, M.S.

Director of Developmental Services

Sara has been associated with the DeKalb Community Service Board in various capacities since 1989. She serves as the Director of Developmental Services where she manages Residential Services, Day Program Services and the Director of DD Quality Assurance and Education Specialist.

Sara received her Bachelor’s and Master’s from Auburn University in Clinical Psychology and is  a CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) surveyor.

Albertine B. Robinson, MHRM

Chief Human Resources Officer

Albertine joined DeKalb Community Service Board in November 2013 as the agency’s Human Resource Manager. In September 2016 she was appointed to her current position as Director of Human Resources.

Albertine has more than 15 years of experience in human resources. Prior to joining DeKalb CSB she served as the Recruitment and Training Manager for Clayton State University. She has held positions in Information Technology, health care services and secondary education. Albertina has a Bachelor in Networking and Communication Management and a Master in Human Resource Management.
