DeKalb Community Service Board has named Keith Ricketson the new Director of Developmental Disabilities Services. Since 1974, Keith has assumed various positions with increasing responsibilities serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in communities in Maryland, New Hampshire, California and Massachusetts. Most recently, Keith served as Director of Operations for BAMSI – Developmental Disabilities/Brain Injury Day and Residential Services in Brockton, MA for more than 13 years. Keith’s work experience includes positions with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health as well as leadership positions with various local affiliates of The Arc.
“I am very excited to be in Georgia and working with DeKalb CSB,” Ricketson said. “I have many years of experience designing and providing supports and services for people with developmental disabilities and working in several states. I look forward to lending some of that experience to DeKalb CSB. Coming from the frigid north, the weather doesn’t hurt either.”
Ricketson resides in Alpharetta with his wife and daughter who is going into middle school. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and going to the beach.
