Disability Day is approaching!  In honor of this day, DeKalb Community Service Board will join the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities for the 17th Annual Disability Day at the Capitol on March 5th.  This year’s theme celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event will be located at Liberty Plaza, the Capitol’s new “front door.”  In honor of this significant event, members of DeKalb CSB took a moment to reflect on the importance of this annual event.

This event brings us one step closer to realizing that vision.”   Keith Ricketson – DeKalb CSB Director of Developmental Disability Services.

Not only that, but this event allows them to interact with others that face the same challenges in other counties.”  Cathy Fraser – DeKalb CSB Director of DeKalb Service Center.
