Addiction Recovery Awareness Day is Thursday, February 5th. In honor of this day, DeKalb Community Service Board will join the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse at the Georgia State Capitol from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate and participate in the events. Join us as we help spread the hope of recovery from addiction, break the silence, and stand up for life. Addiction Recovery Awareness Day also includes this year’s 13th Annual Suicide Prevention Day activities at the Capitol. There will be events throughout the morning and afternoon and the experience will bring the voice of our community to the ears of our legislators.
